Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Pathways Learning Academy at NorthPoint Church!
We’re excited to welcome families to our brand-new center. At Pathways, we offer a nurturing, high-quality learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love of learning in a safe, inclusive, and joyful setting where every child feels valued and supported.
Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to engage young learners, and we’re proud to offer enriching elective programs such as Spanish, yoga, and more. These experiences extend learning beyond the daily curriculum, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and the development of the whole child.

Pathways Learning Academy offers high-quality care and education to start your child on the right path to be best prepared for kindergarten and beyond. Our host church will have a dedicated member of their ministry join our school community on a weekly basis to offer Christian-based activities, events, and lessons for enrolled children.

Meet Our Staff
Alesha Benkert, Director
Education: Bachelor's in Human Services
My name is Alesha Benkert. I am the Academy Director. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with Child Development focus. I have 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education; I have worked as an infant teacher, Assistant Director, and Director at other centers. I am from Michigan and moved to Iowa in 2020. I am married and have two adventurous little boys. My favorite part about working in this field is the connections you make with students and families. I can't wait to meet you!

My name is Bobbi Evans! I have been in early childhood education since 2019. I entered the field due to my passion for shaping the minds of our youth. I am an advocate for children, families, and staff. My professional goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. I am a firm believer that everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard. I lead with integrity, and believe this will show in my work. I am very excited to be apart of the Pathways team!
