Welcome to Pathways Learning Academy!
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you to our school community, located in partnership with Grace Community Church on the second floor of Ballston Quarter Shopping Mall—right across from the elevators!
My name is Anjalie J.M. Don, and I’m honored to serve as the Director of Pathways Learning Academy. With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Management, I’m proud to lead a passionate team committed to nurturing young learners and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
Conveniently located in the heart of Arlington, our academy serves families in surrounding neighborhoods including Ashton Heights, Ballston-Virginia Square, Bluemont, Buckingham, and Waycroft-Woodlawn—making daily routines like drop-off and pick-up quick and easy.
At Pathways, we believe that every child deserves a joyful, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Whether your child joins us in our Toddler, Preschool, or Pre-K program, they’ll experience a thoughtfully designed curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity, and growth. We also offer exciting enrichment programs such as Spanish, yoga, and more to broaden your child’s horizons beyond the classroom.

Pathways Learning Academy offers high-quality care and education to start your child on the right path to be best prepared for kindergarten and beyond. We offer a STEAM-based educational experience at this location. Our host church will have a dedicated member of their ministry join our school community on a weekly basis to offer Christian-based activities, events, and lessons for enrolled children.

With 15 years of experience in early childhood education, including 8 in leadership, I’m passionate about fostering nurturing, engaging spaces where children and educators thrive. I was drawn to Pathways for its innovative STEAM-focused approach, which aligns with my passion for early childhood education. The supportive work culture and commitment to work-life balance truly stood out to me. I’m proud to be part of a community that values children, educators, and families.

Education: BA- psychology and social work.
Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and MAT
With six years of experience, l have always loved working with children and have a passion for teaching. I also love anything creative and like to incorporate music, art, and dramatic play into everyday learning. Working with kids is fun! My favorite thing about working with children is their creativity and curiosity! They love learning new things and take pride in every accomplishment. Helping children is the most rewarding job.
